A popular spot amongst locals and tourists alike, The Doughnut Project is changing the way we think about donuts. Here, they offer unique flavors like the Everything Bagel doughnut and the Olive Oil Black Pepper doughnut. In addition to these fun flavors, they frequently offer monthly specials in collaboration with local restaurants and chefs – so you’ll always be in for a surprise!
Dough
PC: @rad_eatsDough has some of the most amazing yeast doughnuts we’ve ever tasted. Made from Brioche type dough, the doughnuts here are truly incredible. The Dulce de Leche is drenched with thick glaze and studded with sliced toasted almonds. We also love the Passion Fruit or Hibiscus flavors that offer a savory, tangy twist!
Underwest Doughnuts

Cake Doughnuts and Crullers are Chef Wylie Dufresne’s specialties at this William Vale Hotel spot and now at local Whole Foods locations. Indulge in flavors like Chocolate Caramel Brownie, Pistachio Pink Lemonade or Honey Fennel Pollen. Our absolute favorite here is the Banana Graham.

Technically speaking, a cruller is not quite a doughnut, but the one’s they’re serving up at Daily Provisions are so good that they deserve to be on this list. Danny Meyer’s crullers are the perfect balance of melt-in-your-mouth sweet and flaky goodness. Choose between Maple, Cinnamon or classic glaze – you truly can’t go wrong!
Orwashers
PC: @orwashersOrwashers is a long-time artisanal bakery specializing in fresh pastries and baked goods. The tender, airy doughnuts at this UES spot are custom filled with fruit preserves sourced from upstate NY and are lightly dusted with sugar for the perfect finish.
