We know it can be hard to keep up with the latest and greatest in this city, so we’ve done the hard work for you! From BEC Rolls at Olmsted to the new new and delicious coffee milkshake at Coffee & Cream, here are five new, must-try dishes in NYC.
BEC Rolls at Olmsted
PC: @olmstednycLike any true New Yorker, we love a good BEC. At Olmsted’s newly launched brunch menu, they’ve created the first ever BEC rolls complete with housemade bacon, farm eggs and Vermont cheddar cheese all rolled up into a warmed, fried roll. Trust us when we say it tastes even better than it sounds!
Grilled Long Rib at Bistrot Leo
Former Acme chef Brian Loiacono is making some major changes at the newly renovated Bistrot Leo, namely with this incredible “Grilled Long Rib.” Reminiscent of his take on the dish at Acme, this incredible short rib entree is prepared with a black garlic bordelaise and calabrian chili.
Coffee Milkshake at Coffee & Cream
PC: grubstreetThis just in: OddFellows just opened their newest ice cream concept which you guessed it, involves coffee! Coffee & Cream is an ice cream and espresso bar located on Houston Street with 12 rotating flavors of ice cream and sorbet as well as soft serve and coffee. We highly recommend their creamy coffee milkshake made with stumptown cold brew and OddFellow’s coffee crunch ice cream.
Homemade Smoked Salmon at La Mercerie
PC: @houseofstangIf you know the way to our hearts at EatingNYC, then you know that it’s with lox, and lots of it. La Mercerie is a contemporary French café housed inside the home décor showcase of Roman and Williams Guild. Order the Homemade smoked salmon with crème fraiche and blinis and you won’t regret it!
Pizza at Joe & Pats
PC: @joeandpatsJoe and Pats have been serving up specialty thin crust pizza in Staten Island since 1960, so they know a thing or two about how to make a good pie. We’re confident that they’re new East Village outpost is making the best new za in town. While you’re at it, don’t skip out on their pasta and classic entrees, too.
