You may think a cheeseburger doesn’t belong on an Israeli restaurant’s menu, but think again. The cheeseburger pita from Miznon reinvents the classic by folding the burger in half and using a scooped pita as the bun. The result is a charred, cheesy, delicious, less-messy cheeseburger! Ground beef 80/20
Salt + pepper
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Sliced tomato
Sliced sour pickles
Garlic aioli
Sour cream
Fresh pita bread

1. Season ground beef and flatten down into a 6 inch round circle
2. Add flat patty to a heated skillet and immediately add cheese to half of the burger, allowing to flow over the edge by 1-2 inches.
3. Let the burger sit on medium/high for about 6-8 minutes. Then, fold burger in half. Take off grill after about another 3 minutes.
4. Slice off the top of the pita and generously lather the inside with garlic aioli & sour cream.
5. Add in burger, tomato and pickles. Enjoy!
