Let’s face it, Time Square is a tough area, especially when it comes to restaurants. Time and time again we’re asked for recommendations for dinner before a game or show, so it’s time we make the search much easier. See below for our top picks for restaurants near Time Square.
Ippudo
Ramen at Ippudo. PC: Eater.Ippudo, a Tokyo import with three locations in the city, is one of the most well-known ramen chains. Their Westside location, on W 51st St between 8th and 9th, is a fantastic option if a rich, noodle-based dinner is desired — and it’s much less chaotic than their East Village output. There is also a location on West 46th St between 5th and 6th.

It’s inexpensive, quick, and readily available — there are locations on both W 45th St and W 54th St.
Esca
