Living in NYC can get expensive, so we’ll take a good deal when it comes our way, especially if it involves good food. To make your post work drinks a little happier, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite spots that offer discounted food AND drink for happy hour. Cheers!
Flora Bar
PC: ByshannacooperThis upscale Upper East Side favorite is not only serving up super fresh seafood, but they also have a great happy hour menu. Every Tuesday through Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30pm, Flora Bar offers $8 Wines, $10 Cocktails, $5 Beers, and $1 Oysters.
Ousia
PC: OusianycLocated right in the bustle of Midtown, is Ousia, a Mediterranean gem that does happy hour from 5 to 7PM during the week and on Friday starting at 2pm for those who get to enjoy a real summer Friday. With $9 Wine and Cocktails, $6 Draft Beer, and $9 plates of food like Hummus or Tzatziki with Pita, Spanakopita, and Meatballs we’re sure you’ll leave full and happy.
Maya
PC: MayanewyorkcityIs there anything better than Margaritas and Quesadillas? Well, at Maya, you can get both without breaking the bank. Located on the Upper East Side, this Mexican restaurant has an awesome Happy Hour deal offered Monday-Friday, 4pm to close and Saturday and Sunday, 5pm to close. Specials here include Margaritas, Sangria, and Vodka Lemonade just for $8. Beers like Corona, Pacifico, Modelo, and Dos Equis are $6, and Mexican Tapas for $6.
Pinch Chinese
PC: PinchchinesePinch Chinese in Soho offers a happy hour that’s quite hard to come by in this city. Everyday from 5 to 7PM in the lounge, they have $6 Draft Beer, $9 Rose and $9 well drinks, but the best part is Dollar Dumplings – they come 6 in an order with options ranging from pork soup dumplings to freshly steamed veggie dumplings.
Kimoto Rooftop & Garden
PC: KimotorooftopThis beautiful garden rooftop located in Brooklyn is the perfect spot to enjoy post-work drinks this summer. Every Monday to Friday, 4 to 7PM, Kimoto offers $5 Sapporo Drafts, $7 Wines, and $8 Well Cocktails. They also offer food specials each day of the week: Mondays are $0.50 Wings, Tuesdays are $5 Chips & Guac, $8 Margaritas and $28 Margarita pitchers, Wednesdays are $7 Wine and Sangria, $25 Sangria Pitchers and 30% off Wine Bottles, and Thursdays are $5 Edamame and Spring rolls, and a $20 bucket of beer for the day.
Broken Shaker
PC: EatingnycBroken Shaker at the rooftop of The Freehand Hotel is definitely at the top of our list for summer happy hour specials. Daily from 6 to 8pm, they offer a Beer & Shot for $10, $9 Cocktails, $7 Daily Punch, and $6 Snacks such as Arepas and Chicharrones which are our absolute favorite.
The Mermaid Inn
PC: Infatuation_nycIf you’re craving some serious raw bar, the Mermaid Inn is your happy hour spot! On Mondays, Happy Hour goes all night and from 5 -7PM Tuesday-Friday. Specials include $1.25 Oysters, $5 Salmon Tartar, Mini Lobster Roll for $9, and so much more. All Happy Hour cocktails and wines are $8.50 and select draft beers are $6.
Seamore’s
PC: Seamore’sSeamore’s, a Nolita original, has an awesome summer happy hour called the 3,4,5 Happy Hour: “Drinking on The Clock.” Weekdays only, they offer $3 drinks at 3pm, $4 drinks at 4pm, and $5 drinks at 5PM, which includes includes House Wines, Can Beers, and a selection of Cocktails. Pair your drinks with their tuna poke – a must order!
Sugarcane
PC: SugarcanerawbargrillAvailable at the bar and lounge Monday to Friday, from 4 to 7PM are some great deals paired with views of the dumbo waterfront. Sugarcane offers Happy Hour snacks ranging from just $4-$8, including Shishito Peppers and Sushi Rolls along with $8 cocktails and bubbles, $7 wine and $5 Beer.
Huertas
PC: JeaniuseatsLongtime East Village favorite, Huertas, pairs their incredibly authentic Spanish style tapas with drink discounts at the bar until 7pm daily. They have $5 Wine, Beer, Cider, Sherry, Vermouth, and Gin and Tonics on tap along with price bar snacks, $5 Basque Dog, and $15 Can & Conserva.
