We take our desserts very seriously here at EatingNYC, and lately, we can’t get enough Sticky Toffee Pudding. Traditionally a British dessert, this decadent treat is typically served as a sponge cake drowned in toffee pudding and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or custards; it’s the perfect sweet to share with friends, or devour by yourself (we don’t judge). Below we have compiled some of our favorite restaurants that serve this delicious treat.

The Smith
PC: @TheSmithThe Smith whips up a classic take on Sticky Toffee Pudding. Here, the sweet treat is skillet baked with medjool dates, topped with vanilla ice cream, and of course doused with the ooey gooey butterscotch sauce on top.
Quality Eats
PC: @EatingnycThis Sticky Toffee Pudding at Quality Eats means serious business. It is said to serve two, but with the size of this incredible dessert, it can feed a whole table. It is in the shape of a bundt cake and is presented on a high cake stand. While the Bundt shape is perfect to hold all of the pecan toffee drizzle in the center, it does get a little messy once you slice into it!
Crown Shy
PC: @CrownshyNewcomer Crown Shy offers a more elevated rendition of Sticky Toffee Pudding, using dark muscavado sugar and smoked pecans. The dessert is served with a hearty helping of rich sauce and tart apple sorbet on the side, which works as the perfect palate cleanser for this super rich treat.

PC: @HungryobsessionBluebird London is known for their modern interpretation of British fare, so you know the Sticky Toffee Pudding is going to be great — it’s simplistic and traditional, served in a pool of butterscotch sauce and accompanied with the perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream.

PC: @StuffbeneatsLocated right Hudson Yards, this beautiful restaurant overlooks Thomas Heatherwick’s incredible Vessel. The menu at Queensyard consists of British dishes that appeal to the NYC taste but our favorite here is their modern rendition of Sticky Toffee Pudding, served with a rocky road and a scoop of ginger ice cream on the side.
